JOOLA Scorpeus Pro IV 16mm Pickleball Paddle

14mm or 16mm? Choosing the right pickleball paddle
Core thickness is the single biggest decision when buying a pickleball paddle. A 14mm core is firmer and faster, giving you more pop on drives and put-aways, but it demands cleaner contact. A 16mm core is softer and more absorbent, widening the sweet spot and making dinks, blocks and resets far more repeatable. Shape matters too: elongated paddles add reach and leverage for power, hybrid shapes balance speed and stability, and widebody shapes give the most forgiving sweet spot. This paddle uses a hybrid shape with a 16mm core.
